# Stablecoin overview

Triple-A's stablecoin APIs cover both directions of money. Stablecoin Payments lets you accept stablecoins from your customers, and Stablecoin Payouts lets you send stablecoins to recipients. Both use the same [authentication](/docs/getting-started/authentication/) and the same host, so you can use them in one integration. This page helps you pick where to start.

## How the money moves

The following diagram shows both stablecoin products side by side.

![Flow diagram. With Stablecoin Payments, a customer pays in stablecoins such as USDC, USDT or PYUSD and Triple-A settles instantly in local currency (USD, EUR, GBP) to your business. With Stablecoin Payouts, you prefund your Triple-A account in local currency and Triple-A sends stablecoin payouts to a supplier.](/images/stablecoin_payments_flow.png)

With Stablecoin Payments, money flows in from your customers. With Stablecoin Payouts, money flows out to your recipients, and you fund your account in local currency first.
